When you work with Leaven Kids, you make a difference in the lives of children and give back to your community. Within the first few minutes of walking into a Leaven Kids tutoring center, you know you’re in a special place, filled with the sounds and energy of spirited children and friendly, caring staff.
If you would like to be a part of an organization that is helping underserved elementary-age children through free after-school programming designed to support them academically, socially, and in life skills, Leaven Kids is the place for you.
The operations team implements and operates a daily after-school program for at-risk elementary-age children. The centers operate either four or five days a week between the hours of 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.
Interested individuals must love children and have a desire to see them overcome obstacles and succeed in school, and he/she must also be committed to share the love of Christ through the ministry of service in the community. Our staff contributes to building community support through active participation in meetings, community events, and interacting with local government, community organizations and the faith community.

The Program Assistant will assist on a daily basis an after-school center for at-risk elementary-age students. The centers operate four days a week from 3:00-4:30PM or five days a week from 3:00-5:00PM with typical work hours from 2:00-5:00PM or 2:30 - 5:30PM.
