We plant learning centers inside apartment buildings in low-income and crime-ridden neighborhoods—where no one else is willing to go. Staffed with committed staff and volunteers, children are provided with practical support that leads to documented neighborhood transformation.
It's a pleasure to be involved with this and just to see lives changed and kids encouraged. So they know someone loves them and cares about them. And how they can learn to trust people when there are people there they can count on.

Learning Centers
Our educational programs are designed to help children excel academically and are aligned with each school's reading program. In addition, our dedicated volunteers serve as mentors to improve reading comprehension, math skills, and homework completion.
STEAM
We foster hope and skill-building for a bright future by emphasizing both creativity and knowledge in the five key areas of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
Summer Success
To prevent learning loss during the summer months, we offer a six-week summer series that promotes academic development while also providing fun and unique experiences that broaden children's horizons.
Community Involvement
National and local business leaders interact with children to give them an “outside their world” experience of leadership and opportunity that excites and inspires them.
Healthy Eating + Active Living
To support growth and encourage healthy lifestyles, we model and teach healthy eating habits and nutrition to children by providing nutritious snacks and engaging them in our community garden where they learn about growing and preparing healthy foods.
Community Service Projects
We strive to build healthy relationships and cultivate an ethic of giving back through various service projects in cooperation with local police, schools, and leaders. These projects provide children with valuable opportunities to connect with their community and make a positive impact.
