A Strong End for a Bright Future

2016 has been an incredible year for The Leaven, with so many amazing accomplishments that would not have been possible without your support.

We’ve opened new centers throughout Solano, Napa and San Bernardino counties, including our Vacaville center. And just a few days ago, we received some amazing news about this center.

In the six months since our Alamo Gardens Leaven center opened, the neighborhood has had 47% fewer calls to the police for assistance and they have filed 54% fewer crime reports! For the more than 800 residents of Alamo Gardens, this is an amazing change to do list app.

We are so thankful to the ministers and congregations of our Vacaville church partners who not only prayed for change in their community, but also rolled up their sleeves to help our center open its doors and thrive by helping us renovate the center and serve as mentors and tutors for our students. This is another sign that our God is so good.

We have even bigger plans for 2017, and your support will matter more than ever to help every Leaven community experience change just like in Vacaville. I hope you’ll give a gift before midnight on December 31st to give us a strong foundation for the New Year.

Thank you again for your support in 2016. And as we move into 2017, together we will be helping kids and communities rise!
